When you are a traveler, especially if you are travelling to that destination for the first time, you don’t know where to stay and what to do. Many of us have discovered authentic gems while travelling, and also, some very disappointing places to stay. Part of this situation is because the place features pictures that are more than the reality and as a traveler myself, I always prefer authenticity rather than a “pretty picture”. It is true that some of the places in Todos Santos, Cerritos and El Pescadero are stunning, there are Michelin key hotels and Michelin recommendations to eat, but also, there are some places that you gladly pay way more just to disconnect from everything. Staying at Vista Sierra Laguna you will find that is one of those places, a little raw gem just waiting to be found and enjoyed. Here the time slows down, the pace becomes the nature pace and your day-to-day disappears gradually. According to Omar and Tere, the guests that have stayed, they have something in common, at the check out their first comment to them is “What a relaxing time, thank you.” That is where I personally want to stay, where others have enjoyed, not a resort style place, but an elemental yet thoughtful property that blends nature with minimalism and tops it of with personalized service. If you are searching for a place where you want to rest, disconnect and be away from the hustle of civilization, this is the place to stay, definitely. 10 minutes away from the waves in Cerritos, 20 minutes away from Todos Santos, and far enough from the freeway to avoid the noise and pollution is a place where you will really enjoy you time in Baja Sur. If you want to crave a delicious meal onsite, Omar and Tere are the perfect hosts to serve you, but if you are more into going out, there are amazing spots en El Pescadero such as Hierbabuena and Baja Beans just to mention a couple. Tons of options for different kinds of food in the surrounding areas, at Cerritos on the beach, Todos Santos, if you are searching for souvenirs or the street food in El Pescadero too. Are the perfect combination to grab a bite before heading to rest staying at Vista Sierra Laguna. Planning your trip to Baja California Sur?
