Vista Sierra Laguna is

Living as we should live.

Vista Sierra Laguna was born from the dream of two people from Baja California Sur who found in this corner—between the mountains and the sea—the perfect place to live calmly and share that same peace with other travelers.

Our story: a dream planted in the land

Tere, a native of Baja California Sur, found her place in the countryside as a teenager. At 24, she started her first agricultural business, and years later, together with her husband Omar, they began working the land directly. They both grew up among crops, harvests, and the tranquility of country life.

When the pandemic arrived, agricultural work decreased, and everything seemed uncertain, an “angel” appeared in their lives: Marcell, a Canadian resident living in Pescadero, heard about their dream of building a small retreat. He encouraged them to transform the original idea of glamping into something more intimate and lasting: the Vista Sierra Laguna Bungalows.

From Blueprints to Real Life

Construction began in late 2022. Brick by brick, idea by idea, with local hands and a South Baja Californian heart. In March 2023, the first travelers began to arrive. And so, what started as a distant project became a home for those seeking to slow down, reconnect, and breathe differently.

Today, Vista Sierra Laguna offers three bungalows for a total of nine guests, and will soon expand to welcome more families and couples seeking to “live as we should live.”

A Place That Cares and Takes Care

Tere, in addition to being the co-owner, fulfilled another of her dreams: studying nursing. Her dedication to service is reflected in every detail and in every guest she welcomes.

Omar left the restaurant and hospitality industry to dedicate himself fully to the project. Now he is the General Manager and, above all, the host who makes every visitor feel at home.

They both share a simple philosophy:

To serve from the heart and offer a space where life regains its natural rhythm.

Sustainability that is lived, not boasted about.

The countryside remains part of their essence. That's why they compost food, separate waste, and grow many of the ingredients for the breakfasts they prepare for their guests.

In 2025, Tere started a small beekeeping project after three bee colonies arrived on their own at Vista Sierra Laguna. Today, those bees help pollinate local citrus groves.

As they say, animals know where there is peace.
